When you buy a Christmas ham from Meat at Billy’s you are guaranteed to receive a ham of exceptional quality and incredible flavour.
Our hams are 100% Australian, free range and sourced locally.
Using traditional methods, they are lightly cured and double wood smoked for up to 12 hours. The flavour is the perfect balance of sweet succulent meat with a subtle yet unmistakable smokiness.
Where do we start?!
If you feel like you over indulged on Christmas Day, the simple approach is often the best.
Thickly slice some Christmas Ham and simply serve it with crusty white bread and fresh butter. A little mustard on the side and lunch is done.
Alternatively, if you feel the need for a hearty breakfast, check out our recipe for Boxing Day Croque Madame. You won’t need lunch, that’s for sure.
Meat at Billy’s has so much more than just Christmas hams on offer.
We have free range turkey and chicken, free range pork and lamb roasts, eye fillet logs, whole rib fillets and standing rib roasts, ribs and a whole lot more.
We also have an extensive selection of our most popular Christmas items including sauces, jellies and gravy.
All of the above can be ordered online and delivered to your door. Remember, there’s FREE delivery for orders over $100.
We start taking orders from 1st November and continue until we have reached capacity.
To ensure you don’t miss out, we suggest you place your order early. This will secure your Christmas Ham and any other Christmas items you order.
Once this is done, you tick it off your list and relax.
When you choose to Order Online, there are limited sizes and variations available. The products in our online store have a set minimum size, with the cost of each product calculated based on a minimum product weight and the per kilo price. This is what you pay at the checkout.
You will never receive a product that is less than the minimum weight stated, however you may be lucky enough to receive one that weighs more than the minimum weight. If you do, enjoy 🙂
Should you have a specific size/weight you wish to order or have other order variations eg. stuffing, this can be done via our ‘Order via Form’ option. Click here for more details on how to Order via Form.

Before you select which Christmas Ham is best for you, there are a number of things to consider:
- how many guests are you feeding?
- will you ham be the main feature of your Christmas feast?
- do you want left overs?
The recommendations below are calculated based on your ham be the sole feature of your Christmas feast. It doesn’t take into consideration what other dishes you are serving or how hungry your guests may be.
We recommend you allow 250g-300g of ham per person.
A 5kg ham on the bone should easily cater generously for 10-15 people with left overs.
A 10kg ham on the bone should easily cater generously for 20-30 people with left overs.
No. Ham is already cooked and ready to eat (unless you purchase a pickled leg). It is delicious served as a cold cut of meat. A popular alternative however, is to warm your ham through and bake a glaze on it at the same time. There are many different Christmas ham glaze recipes.

It’s important that you keep your Christmas ham from drying out in the fridge. The best way to do this is to fold the rind back over any exposed surface and store it in a Ham Bag or wrapped in a tea towel. Before wrapping soak the Ham Bag in a mix of 1 litre of water to 2 tablespoons of white vinegar. Squeeze out any excess liquid to leave the bag damp. Repeat the process every couple of days.
When stored correctly in a ham bag that is refreshed, it should last about a week.
To store correctly, always ensure it’s kept in the coolest part of the fridge. Keep the ham wrapped in a ham bag that has been moistened with water and a tablespoon of vinegar. Refresh the ham bag regularly to ensure it doesn’t dry out.
Yes. All our Christmas hams are gluten and allergen free.
Glazing your ham is simply the process of warming your ham through whilst baking a glaze over the surface for extra flavour.

Watch Ralphie from The Shank Brothers shows you just how easy it is to glaze a Christmas Ham using our recipe for Peach & Mustard Glazed Ham.
The process of preparing your ham for glazing is not difficult, It just takes a little patience. It involves removing the skin from the ham, whilst retaining the layer of fat covering the ham.
When you order your Christmas ham from Meat at Billy’s, we will happily prepare it for glazing at no extra charge. Just ask and we’ll take care of it for you. After removing the skin we’ll place it back over the ham to ensure it stays moist.
Here’s a quick video from the #2BALDBUTCHERS with some tips on how to perfectly prepare your ham for glazing.
We sure can … and it only has 3 ingredients. Merry Christmas!
